When do the baseball and softball seasons start and end?
We hope to begin practices in mid March, weather permitting. The season will end this year either June 8 or June 15.
2. What days will my child practice and play games on?
We are not able to give specific practice or game days prior to the start of the season. Once registration closes, we create a schedule based on the number of teams we have for that particular year. We publish the practice and game schedules once we have had time to finalize all the details.
3. Where will practices and games be located?
T-Ball-Milford Ball Field
Minors-Most at Airport Park, some at Milford Ball Field
Majors-Milford Ball Field

4. How many practices or games are scheduled per week?
Typically, there will be 2-3 practices or games per week. This is very subject to change depending on the weather and field conditions.
5. What division should I register my child for?
The age guidelines are as follows:
Softball Minors- 5-9
Softball Majors- 10-12
Baseball Majors 11-12
****Please note that these are guidelines only! If your child is capable of playing in a higher division at a younger age, he or she may be considered for that division. In certain cases, we also allow players who are older than the guidelines to play in a younger division. The decision to play up or down is based on the safety of not only your child, but also the other children in the division.
6. Does my child have to try out for his or her division?
Softball Majors-yes, if you are moving up to this division or are new to the league.
Baseball Minors-yes, if you are moving up to this division or are new to the league
Baseball Majors-yes, if you are moving up to this division or are new to the league.
**Please note that not every child who tries out for a desired division will be placed in that division.
**We will notify everyone when tryout dates are as soon as they become available.
7. What equipment does my child need?
Softball Minors-Bat, glove, batting helmet (with face mask is recommended), cleats, softball pants.
Softball Majors-Bat, glove, batting helmet (with face mask is recommended), facemasks for the pitcher, 1st and 3rd baseman, cleats and softball pants.
T-Ball-Bat, glove, batting helmet, baseball pants are optional.
Rookies-Bat, glove, batting helmet, cleats, baseball pants.
Baseball Minors-Bat, glove, batting helmet, cleats, baseball pants.
Baseball Majors-Bat, glove, batting helmet, cleats, baseball pants.
****Please note that for all baseball divisions, your child may only use a USA Baseball bat. If you are unable to purchase an approved bat, your child may use one of the league’s bats. Also, for softball players who are unable to purchase their own face mask to wear in the field, the league will be purchasing some for use this season.
The league will issue catcher’s equipment to each team.
